N. UDAYAKUMAR was a teen when he began to loose feeling in his hands and feet. It became very apparent that his life was about to change drastically. He had become affected with Leprosy. Soon, his whole life had as much feeling as his hands and feet and soon, he was all alone.
Udayakumar was once a great student of art at the high school he attended. He soon accepted that art could no longer be a part of his life. Then, he found the Bindu School of Art.
Since then, he has dedicated his life and his skill to the school. His art is some of the best to come out of the school! He has had the great honor of competing in art shows and has traveled to Austria and Calcutta to enter and display his art in beautiful galleries.
Now, he is able to support himself with the money he makes from his art. He also supports nine other people with his income. He would love his buyers to know that there is a whole lot to his life and his skills aside from Leprosy.
He would like new students to leave their past in the past and know that if you really want to be successful, you can. He is so thankful for the art school and wishes that anyone trying to get over the disease will come to the art school and learn how to paint just like him!
