Die Künstler

Das Künstlerehepaar N. Ramachandran und V. Anamika aus Chennai betreuen die StudentInnen 2x monatlich für einen Tag. Um die individuelle, Entwicklung nicht zu beeinflussen, werden die Arbeiten weder kritisiert noch beurteilt. Die StudentInnen werden nur in Fragen technischer Bereiche, wie Farbenlehre, Perspektive etc. beraten.




Advices for the Artist

He/she has to come every two weeks to the school for 3hours to look after the needs of the students and to control the coordinators work.
He/she should help the students if they have any questions in the matter of painting.
It should be given only technical teachings, if required. (Mixing of colors, perspective, etc.)
He/she must send monthly a report to E-Mail-Adresse  enclose 3 photographs of the paintings of each student. The photos shouldn’t have much surroundings and following the Students Numbers to archive them easily. He/she has to organize the painting materials (colors, brushes, papers, etc.) for the students from the Hindu Traders Chennai. The money therefore he will get from the coordinator. Bills must be given. He/she has to inform the coordinator some days before he needs the money.
For the 1000 Rs payment he/she has to give a receipt. He/she should take care for the coming artists together with the Apparao Gallery Chennai…..further details will be given.For any special needs he/she can contact Werner Dornik or Padma Venkataraman




Workshops

Jedes Jahr werden in den Wintermonaten einwöchige Workshops mit je einem/er KünstlerIn oder KunsterzieherIn aus Indien und Österreich organisiert. Gemeinsam werden sie die StudentInnen mit Maltechniken, verschiedenen Malstilen und künstlerischen Zugängen vertraut machen.

Die Auswahl der österreichischen KünstlerInnen wird davon abhängig sein, welche sich im Zeitraum der geplanten Workshops ohnehin mit ihren eigenen Projekten in Indien aufhalten. Diesbezüglich vermittelt die Ö Botschaft in New Delhi.

Galerien können „ihre“ KünstlerInnen für Workshops vorschlagen, sofern sie eine Ausstellung mit den Arbeiten des Künstlers und der StudentInnen, die im Workshop entstanden sind, organisieren.
